I'm finally done with college! I'm slowing getting back onto DA and social media. I had over 1,000 deviations in my in-box and a lot of journals to read. I'm still sorting through them, so if I didn't reply to anything I should have let me know. :)
I have a lot of art to post here, some of it is pretty cool, some of it is just plain weird(you can decide which is which).

Since I have graduated from college, and do not have a job my main concern is making a living so I have decided to start making clothing for sale. I will have pre-made clothing and also fully customizable clothing that is made to a person's measurements. I'll be posting pictures here of finished clothing and also post a link to my etsy site once I have things for sale.
I will still be posting sculptures here as well, just not as many.

Anyway, how are you guys doing? I really want to hear what everyone is up to.

Nightmare: Stanley by gryphonsshadow
Nightmare: Stanley
This is the last sculpture that I made for college. As usual, I went overboard on the design but I like how it came out. This guy has a welded metal frame as an armature and his body was filled out with newspaper and duct tape. almost all of the fabric is fur I got from taking apart various stuffed animals, the neon orange, black fur and long red fur were part of my fabric stash. the eyes are marble and he has 100 teeth that are made from polymer clay.
I used a lot of different refernces of animals to design this guy, the mouth is from a lamprey, the body from a hyena, eyes from insects. it was a lot of fun. the fabric and color designs were mainly decided on how much I had of each color.  I'm guessing I worked on this guy for about 30-40 hours over three weeks. It took at least 16 hours to place all the fur on (which I manage to get done over two days).

I decided to call him Stanley. I don't know why but I think it suits him. I was thinking of making it an acronym but gave up.

this guy is huge, his length from head to tail is about 6 feet. His highest point is about 50 inches and his widest point is about 48 inches. I really like working in this scale but I don't want my house to be filed with this guys, I don't have enough room.

DOWNLOAD for excessively huge pictures.

That sounds great!! I can't wait to buy some. I'm hoping they'll be able to keep up with me...I'm constantly ripping my pants, but my hakama actually holds up pretty well...just isn't quite convenient to wear them in public. So yeah, it'd definitely help lol.
